ABOUT OUR LENA'S LEARNERS LION'S STAFF

 I am Brenda Slayton, I have worked as a certified teacher for 18 years.  I am currently an elementary teacher.  

My education background consists of Reading Recovery teacher, grades Pre-k through 5th Elementary teacher,  STAAR Elementary teacher, High School Science/Biology teacher, High School Coach for Volleyball, Basketball, and Track.  I have been a teacher in public schools and private schools.

I am honored to bring my expertise as an educator to communities.  Our greatest initiatives are  to continue working together to offer differentiated and high impact learning opportunities for each student, inspiring and challenging them through engaging experiences and interventions. 

Hi! My Name is Ms. Ingram! I will be your child’s Math Enrichment teacher for the 

2024- 2025 school year!

This will be my 12th year as an educator, and I am excited to make this our best year yet!

I earned my Bachelor's degree in Business

Administration from Belhaven University in

Jackson, Mississippi, and a masters degree in

Special Education from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant, Oklahoma.

I grew up here in the great city of Longview,

Texas, and I graduated from Hallsville High

School. I have three wonderful daughters. In

my free time I enjoy spending time with my

family, reading, doing puzzles and spending

time with my dogs.
